Raisa Gorbachev Children’s Institute of Transplantology & Haematology (St Petersburg, Russia)
A centre of excellence in Russia, the Raisa Gorbachev Children’s institute was built with a donation of US $5 million from Alexander Lebedev in 2002. The Institute was officially opened on 21st September 2007.
To date the majority of funding from the gala events has been used to furnish the new clinic with much needed equipment and beds.
Projects funded
