Anton

Anton, who is 10, is from a small district town of Stobzy in Minsk and has a rare and very serious genetic disease. For 4 years he has been living in a hospital with no opportunity to come home even for a short break. His mother visits him every day at the hospital and normally stays for a half of the day and then she needs time to take care of her other child who also has disabilities. The family has a low income as only the father can work.

The hospice started to raise funds for Anton and he has been under the hospice care for 6 months already. For Anton to live at home a portable ventilator was needed. The Raisa Gorbachev Foundation provided the grant which allowed a portable ventilator to be purchased for Anton.
