Three year old Semyon had high fevers and was diagnosed with a respiratory viral infection in March 2010, and was given treatment for common cold. However after a month he did not feel any better and had worse symptoms such as headaches and leg pains. After blood tests he was eventually diagnosed with leukaemia. Semyon underwent a round of chemotherapy and he is now in remission and is at home and he is now feeling a lot better. However his treatment is not finished yet as a course of radiotherapy is planned.
